2017 Word of the Year

It's that time of year again! Time to choose a word to guide us and inspire us through 2017! All of you chose wonderful words last year, and I know some of you felt the benefits of bringing your word to mind at various times and in certain circumstances.

This past year my word was generosity. It is a powerful word that played out in many ways -- both in the giving and receiving.

For 2017, my word is ASK. I have experienced the incredible impact of ASKING of late and want to continue to use my voice to ASK. Ask questions, ask for what I need, or ask what I can do for someone else, etc.

Now I am so excited to hear about your words! They have a great influence on all of us. This past year someone thought my word was BRAVE, and it is so interesting how that word became a central player in my life.

In Nov 2015 you and I had a cup of tea and you inspired me. One month later for my Christmas feast you sent me Daring Greatly by Brene Brown. I had never heard of her. Now 365 days later I am astounded at the positive outcomes that your actions were the impetus for. Your art paper, your faith, your writings,and your pain has somehow been able to come alive at a time divinely led for my growth. This year I have learned to be vulnerable and courageous and honest. It has allowed me time with my art, in meditation , and I have gotten clear about what I want. My word for the year is...INSPIRING...I am Inspiring. And I thank you for showing me how to be .Happy New Year

INTUTION.
Going to expand and trust this innate power in 2017 of mine.

BTW - I made 80 gallons of yogi tea for our teacher training this year. I am about to put some on now - one hour to brew then let sit overnight.. strain and rewarm in the morning.. now this is tea worth waiting for. Love and Light!

FIDELITY Since the word has at least six definitions and is nuanced with the word integrity (an unbroken connection to an original source), it will challenge me to live into the fullness of its meaning. Wish me luck!

I'm deeply grateful for you inspiring me on this power of a word for the year. Last year I chose Receive, which was deeply healing, helping me with balance, clarity, humility and joy.
This year's word is 2 words: Divine Offering.

FORWARD
It took a lot of pondering and meditating to come up with just one word to set the tone for this year. For me, it is about forward. Moving forward, looking forward, being forward. It's about taking the baby steps into new territory in my business and my life. It's about seeing hope in the future and not being attached to the past. It's about not holding back, and showing my heart without fear of being too much. (Too bold, too loud, to selfish, too crazy)
Forward is where I want to go this year. I spent all of last year stuck in the same spot, holding onto to what needs to go, afraid to move out of my comfort zone. Not any more. This year I will look FORWARD to exciting new things that will happen in my life!
Can't wait to see you again!

My word for this year is wellness. 2016 has been a real bugger for me, my family and many people that I love and cherish. I know that life is a series of highs, lows and in betweens. Everyone of us experiences hardships and finding the silver lining is something that I strive for...when I realize that I have made it thru a struggle and can sense the strength I have gained as a person, then I appreciate myself more. It is not easy, I really have to work at it and focus. All my best to all of you, and Jane. I love your wonderful spirit, you inspire me❤️❌⭕

My word is DEVOTION...
A word that felt mysterious and prickly to me at this time last year and now feels welcoming, inspiring and just enough of a stretch.
