My world has been opened up to a whole new group of women who love to make art and who love to craft, and I just want to say that craft ladies seem to be some of the nicest, coziest, and happiest people on the planet!
I took a trip to Zoar, Ohio this past week and went to THE STAMP PAD store, set in a century-old home in lovely Zoar Village. I met wonderful people and bought great stamps. I met the woman who owns the store (above) -- she wears a pink bowling shirt and is able to convince you that you need every stamp in her store. She knows everything there is to know about stamps.
Then I moved into one of several rooms loaded with stamps, was browsing around, and heard someone say, "Honey, honey, honey...come look at this!" I looked around and realized an older woman was talking to me. She did this 5 plus times, calling me 'honey' all the while and wanting to show me some cool stamps. It was the cutest thing ever!
Then, I went to the Adventures in Stamping conference this weekend, where thousands of women converged on a convention center to buy stamps! Stamper ladies smile a lot, and they love to buy things! That is why I love them. Here are three great Guadalupe stamps I bought...
among others I purchased...
okay, many others... :))))))))
